I have set up a database in Catalog. I have downloaded Collector for ArcGIS onto my iPhone. How do I get this GDB on to my phone to start collecting data? I have tried following the steps in this tutorial Prepare your data in ArcGIS for Desktop—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS but when I get to the Share As > Service > Choose a Connection option I don't know where to go. I have to be missing something but don't know what.
Have you signed into ArcGIS Online from ArcMap? File > Sign In
If you haven't signed in, when you go to choose a connection there won't be an option to choose "My hosted services".
You need* access to ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS.
*could possibly fudge something in offline mode and haven't read about anyone trying that.
