We had a standby box turned off for months, and now that we turned it on, we are getting this error in the server logs. Is there anything we can do to fix it?

I wonder if you have to "re-create" the sync due to the lapse in time. Another possible option is this: https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/portal/latest/administer/windows/data-store-recovery.htm
