Hi guys. I'm trying to install ArcGis for Server 10.3.1 with an activation code for 10.5 version but it doesn't work. Is there any problem using this activation code for a prior version of Arcgis for Server?

10.5 does have a different code than 10.0-10.4, so you will not be able to use the same code. If you have been on maintenance for a while (pre 10.5), you should be able to go to you myesri page to get that license instead of the 10.5, assuming you only have one license.
if this is a new purchase since 10.5 was released, you may need to talk to your customer service rep or local distributor to see if you can use previous version. I am not sure how the licensing works in that case, but they may be able to help.
That's correct. Esri rekeyed licenses at 10.5. I believe you can license with a 10.1-10.4 license, then restart the GIS Server. Then you can create the site.
