Smoothing in Topo to Raster

Hi guys,

I've been doing some surface interpolation with the Topo to Raster function in ArcGIS and I had a few questions I was hoping someone could help with. The data I am using is relatively noisy and potentially overconstrained and so the surface I have produced has come out somewhat "bumpy". I was hoping to smooth this out a bit but I wasn't entirely sure what changes to make to the settings. I imagine that it will be the Roughness penalty and/or Profile curvature roughness penalty options which would make the difference but I wasn't exactly sure what values to use either. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Try changing the value in the Discretisation error factor tab within Topo to Raster.
