How to get a count of rows from an attribute table and output in a table in model builder

Hi,

I have built a model for a set of steps which I want to complete. In the last step I want to get a count of all the rows (boat points shapefile attribute table) for each day in a month. The output should be a table showing the number of boats in each day of the month. Here is the model I have so far.

I am unable to run successfully the last part. I got this idea for the last step from this discussion - arcgis desktop - Using ModeBuilder to populate a table with the feature count of multiple feature classes - Geographic I… . However, I am getting an error in the python code. Any advice would be of great help.
