How to create 3D solid geologic model of subsurface

Hi everyone,

I have a dataset which have x,y,z of each point. In other words, base on these data I have the the thickness of different geologic layers. I want to create solid geologic map in 3D in ArcGIS.

I tried to install "BlockDiagram" from the link below, but I could not. Does anyone know how can I install this extension.

Please help me if anyone knows other ways to create 3D solid geologic map.

This is normally done by extruding between 2 surfaces which created a multipatch geological layer. You will need 2 TIN surfaces (top surface and bottom surface) and a polygon layer containing input features that defines the area you wish to extrude.
See Toolbox -> 3D Analyst Tools -> TIN Surface -> Extrude Between

I do that and it just works for surface layer. For subsurface layers this methods creates the output that is not correct. I used bedrock geology as a polygon feature class for "extrude between".

Do you know how I can resolve this problem?
