Hi,
I accidently deleted the federated server from our Portal. I'm wondering if there's an easy way to re-federate ArcGIS Server and make the existing hosted layers still work?
We are working with 10.3.1

I thought I should update on my post. I've contacted Esri Support, here is their reply:
there is a disaster recovery tool for Portal coming out at 10.5 which will address the issues which occur when unfederating and refederating

Sorry for my late reply.
I had to manually re-federate, which means, manually update each hosted feature service in the config store to match them with the old itemids.
It is very painful.
