The layer cannot be added to the map

Hello,
I uploaded a shape file to my map. I can see it on my map (the administrator), but my colleagues get an error when trying to open it, saying the layer cannot be added to the map? Anyone have any suggestions? I created a test account and got the same problem from a different computer.
