Hi everyone,
I'm trying to determine whether it is possible to have a chart in an ArcGIS Pro Report dynamically update based on filters applied in ArcGIS Experience Builder.
Setup
- ArcGIS Pro 3.7.1
- ArcGIS Enterprise 12.1
- Experience Builder
- Hosted Feature Layer
- Custom
.rptx Report created in ArcGIS Pro
My workflow is:
ArcGIS Pro Report → Get Report Templates Info → Get Layout Template Info → Export Web Map → Share as Web Tool → Experience Builder Print Widget
The report itself works correctly. For example, I have a dynamic feature count in the report, and when I apply a filter in Experience Builder, the count in the generated report correctly reflects the filtered features.
However, I also have a chart in the report based on the same hosted feature layer, and this is where I have an issue.
After filtering: 75 features → report correctly shows 75, but the chart still represents the original 500 features.
So it appears that the filtered Web Map is being passed to the report correctly, but the chart is still using the original/unfiltered data source, or is basically just inserting the chart frame as an image essentially.
My question
Is it possible for a chart in an ArcGIS Pro .rptx Report to dynamically use the filtered feature set being passed from Experience Builder through the Export Web Map/Print workflow?
If so, is there a specific way the chart's data source needs to be configured?
Has anyone successfully achieved:
Experience Builder filter → Print Widget → Export Web Map → Report → dynamically filtered chart
Any advice, examples or documentation would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
