Hi everyone. This September, I am launching a nationwide practical experiment for my PhD dissertation focused on developing STEM competencies through GIT across all regions of Ukraine. The evaluation criteria are fully ready and documented in my upcoming research paper.
The core of this project relies on a deeply dedicated network of local K-12 educators who have been promoting GIS education entirely on a volunteer basis for many years. As a project leader, I face a critical question: when I approach these teachers to collaborate for another academic year, what tangible, professional rewards can I offer them?
What specific tools, programs, or frameworks exist within the global Esri community to provide real professional recognition for such long-term volunteer efforts? I am looking for concrete ways the global ecosystem can support them—whether through international peer mentorship, global visibility for their school projects, or exclusive professional development pathways—so they feel their dedication has true international value.
Best regards,
Liudmyla
