A workaoround to merging holes in larger polygons if eliminate tool is not available in basic version

Question

Hi
I want to eliminate polygons with a different attribute value (gridcode=0) within the larger polygons (Grid Code=1) to create clean polygons for further delineation of polygons within the extent of the larger polygons.

I cannot use the eliminate tool because it is only available in the advanced version of ArcGIS Pro.

Anyone suggest a work flow workaround?

If I understand correctly, you may be able to use the "Use the Union and Dissolve tools" section in this tech article Fill Holes in a Polygon Feature Using Geoprocessing Tools in ArcGIS Pro - to get around the Eliminate GP tool licensing issue.

Are gridcode0 polygons only ever holes in a bigger polygon or can they touch multiple different gridcode1 polygons?  A couple example graphics would be helpful for folks to see because there isn't enough information here for people to give a detailed response.
