Contents pane jumping

Question

When clicking and editing a layer in the contents pane, it keeps losing focus and jumps somewhere else entirely after any layer change and i need to scroll back to the layer and highlight again. Frustrating when the contents pane has so many layers loaded. Its wasting time and focus. How can i keep the layer active until am done with it. I recently upgraded to 3.7.1 but it is still doing it. It was not like that with 3.6

Can do. I'll be working in my project where it's been happening today and can take a video when it acts up. Currently, it's not doing it but was fairly frequent earlier this week.

@JonM32 @PhilipViljoen  , no I don't see a problem like that. I can make a change to the Font Name, then straight away make another change to the Size, without the need to reselect anything.

Perhaps a screenshot from your ArcGIS Pro would make it clearer to me ?

I had the same thing happen, I'm in 3.7.

Workflow for me

* Working in a map layout
* Need to change label properties for a layer; for example: change font type or size
* Select layer in map, change label properties
* The layer I made the change on that was selected becomes unselected and the label pane becomes inactive.
* I have to go to the contents pane and reselect the layer to make another single change in the label pane.
