How to model a Clearwell for Water Distribution?

A clearwell is a typical water distribution item, similar to a large water tank.  It is there to provide residency time for chlorine to affect the water before distribution.  Ours has two inlets and three outlets and holds 2 million gallons of water. We are a tiny municipal water distribution system trying to clean up our implementation of utility network and need to figure out how to model this setup.  Is there a way to do this through associations or something?

Hello,

Depending on your configuration, you can either:

- Add a new asset type and a new terminal configuration with two inlet (upstream) ports and three outlet ports. This is necessary if your clearwell is fed by different tanks and serves different distribution areas. This will allow you to model each of the two supply subnetworks and each of the three distribution subnetworks.

- Add only a new asset type and consider it not as a subnetwork controller, but as an intermediate reservoir that is part of a larger subnetwork fed by two controller reservoirs.
