Recurring "Sign In" banner issue in Experience Builder

Hello everyone,

I am currently facing a technical issue with an Experience Builder application that I am developing. Every time the application loads, a "Sign In" banner systematically appears, indicating that I do not have access to the specified organizations or servers (see attached image).

It is important to note that all data layers used in this application are configured to be public and, in theory, should not require any specific authentication. Since these resources are essential to the functionality of my application, I do not want to remove them.

Have any of you ever encountered this type of persistent banner? Do you know if there is a configuration setting or a specific workaround to prevent this message from appearing at application startup, while still maintaining access to the relevant data layers?

Hi everyone,

Thank you very much for your suggestions. I finally found a solution: I removed the layers originating from the ArcGIS REST Services directory that were triggering the message, and then added them back to my map. This resolved the issue, and the banner no longer appears.

Where is the data being stored? Is it a hosted feature layer in AGO or portal, or are you calling on a REST service?

Thank you for your question. Regarding the data source, the layers mentioned in the alert are being pulled from the ArcGIS REST Services Directory. They are not hosted feature layers in ArcGIS Online; I am calling on them directly via REST services, which are configured as public.

Are you using a basemap service in your map that requires authentication? Try using a standard Esri basemap and see if you get the same error. If so, you may need to add the basemap as an item to your contents and include credentials.

Hi @EMani ,

It’s actually the standard Esri Hybrid Imagery basemap that I’m using in my project. There’s no external basemap service or custom authenticated layer involved in my application.

So the map is already relying on a default Esri basemap, not a third-party or secured service.
