New features
Generate Customer Demographic Profile Report tool
The Generate Customer Demographic Profile Report tool allows you to add a point layer representing customer locations, then summarize the average demographic characteristics of the geographic units that the points fall into, such as block groups. You can weight the demographic calculations using the number of points in each geography, or even a numeric weight field like customer spending. The output is an infographic that summarizes the demographics of the geographies that intersect the input point layer, and an optional feature class output of the polygon features with the point aggregations.
Performance and productivity improvements
Run infographics on the fly with local data
Many users take advantage of the quick, snappy Infographics tool in ArcGIS Pro. Its only downside was that it could only run infographics when connected to an online dataset. Not anymore! New at Pro 3.7, you will be able use the Infographics tool on the Map ribbon to create infographics with a local dataset. This allows you to run any template in the Infographics window, including custom templates and templates imported from Business Analyst Web App, using a local dataset, without consuming credits.
Updated interface in the Target Marketing workflow
The Target Marketing workflow provides a wealth of actionable data for customer outreach and marketing strategy. At Pro 3.7, this content will be more discoverable than ever. The user experience in the Target Marketing workflow will feature improvements, including the ability to:
- view customer profiles and market area profiles within the workflow
- show or hide outliers in the four-quadrant analysis
- use a survey profile as a proxy for customer data to perform the analysis
In addition, the workflow will receive interface upgrades for more consistent terminology and clarified in-app tooltips.
Redesigned points of interest search
The powerhouse points of interest search workflow will feature a new interface and updated functionality, putting it on par with the upgrades to this workflow seen in Business Analyst Web App. The updated points of interest search will:
- better support the use of category and code systems for searching
- introduce point data aggregation
- allow the construction of advanced search queries
- allow you to define the search extent using the Area of Interest control
