ArcGIS Webadaptor in place upgrade instead of uninstall/install

Please provide a way to upgrade the web adaptor  in place, instead of having to uninstall/install.
This implementation is not in line with how other components are upgraded and may lead to systems being longer unavailable compared to in place upgrades.

Ideally there would be a new CLI parameter to upgrade webadaptors in place:https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/web-adaptor/latest/install/iis/install-arcgis-web-adaptor-silently.htm
