Issues using STAC in ArcGIS Pro with Portuguese locale

Dear all,

While using ArcGIS Pro on a system configured in Portuguese, I noticed that the STAC extension connected to [https://data.inpe.br/bdc/stac/v1/](https://data.inpe.br/bdc/stac/v1/), when accessing the Sentinel-2 L2A collection, is sending search queries using a comma (",") as the decimal separator instead of a period (".") in the bbox field, due to the system’s regional settings. I believe an automatic conversion should be applied in order to comply with the STAC specification. When using the Microsoft Planetary Computer STAC, it works correctly. Therefore, I assume that ArcGIS performs some internal handling for this case, but this behavior does not seem to apply to all STAC endpoints.

Additionally, it seems that the client is not able to retrieve certain attributes from the catalog, such as the cloud cover percentage, even though the EO extension is present in the STAC items.

Could you please advise on how these issues can be addressed or properly handled?
