Drawings in PDFs are not shown in ArcGIS Pro

Question

I have georeferenced PDF files (exported from ArcMAP) that contain drawings made in Adobe Acrobat using the drawing tool on an Android device. When I add the PDF to ArcGIS Pro (using ArcGIS Pro version 3.4.5 right now), it is positioned correctly in terms of location and orientation, but the drawings are not visible. Hower, using a standard PDF viewer or QGIS 3, the drawings appear fine.

Any suggestions how I can get ArcGIS Pro to show the drawings in the PDF file?

I am checking to see if your situation is resolve but it looked like you mention " but the drawings are not visible." and I thought of my experience with the PDF..   Sometimes Adobe updates all the time and ESRI probably have not catch it up to their latest version so that is why.

Maybe you can try to use Save As as a new file and try export it in ArcGIS Pro to see if  your drawings shows up.  If they are not, it might be something to do with the georeferenced issue on that PDF.

I don't understand how my problem relates to the preview in (Windows?) File Explorer.

EDIT: I can see the preview of the PDF file with the drawings in Windows File Explorer.

What I am seeing on my computer and I had a few PDF that was not able to preview in File Explorer and I discovered  I had to "save as" a new file....

In the past I had no issues with it; however, after I was reading your post, can you try open the PDF and use the save as to see if it makes the difference ?

I don't have any on my side to try this method but I had many PDF that I had to save as a new file and now I can see them in Preview in File Explorer.
