Searching within a Dashboard table element

Question

Is there currently a way for a Dashboard user to search within a table element? If not, is this a planned update? I recognize that the table could be filtered with a selector and user can search within List element, but neither of those options work in our case.

No. Dashboards do not currently support in-table search within the table element itself.
The table widget lets users sort and filter (via selectors and actions), but there’s no built-in text search box like you see in the List widget or in the Map Viewer’s attribute table.

At this time, the only ways people work around it are:

* Add a filter widget or selector that narrows the table dynamically
* Use a List with search enabled (if that UX fits your use case)
* Build a custom Experience/React app that uses the API and adds a real search input

As of now, there’s no native planned update from ESRI that adds a search bar directly to the Dashboard table element, this limitation has been confirmed by users and product feedback channels.
