Pre the 11.5 upgrade, gallery items could be clicked on anywhere on their make up to reach the underlying link, i.e., clicking on the image, or text would take you to the link.
With the 11.5 upgrade gallery items are now only clickable on the bottom text banner of the item. Our users have gotten used to a certain ease of clicking and some are believing that our system is not working for this reason.
We understand you can reach the desired affect by instead using rows of images, but this is a lot more work, less dynamic than connecting auto to an application and gives a different look (which again our users won't be used to).
It would be great if functionality could be added back in for out of the box use of gallery items where you can click on any part of the item (image or text, or text banner) and reach the URL.
