How can I make Revit features (walls, doors, etc.) floor-aware in ArcGIS Indoors?

Hi everyone,

I’m working with a Revit model that I’ve brought into ArcGIS Indoors. The model includes architectural elements like walls, doors, and other features. I’d like to make these features floor-aware so they can be properly aligned with the Levels/Units in my Indoors data model and used in floor-aware maps and apps.

If you have done the conversion from Revit to Indoors using the tools in the Indoors toolbox the details should have the Level_ID populated, which you then use in conjunction with the Levels layer.  The syntax in the Levels layer needs to be replicated in Units and Details for this to work.  In a web map go to the settings and specify map is floor aware; you will need to specify the Facilities and Levels layers, then you need to add additional layers, including Details, and specify their Level field.
