Possible to remove the expand/collapse legend icon in the Map Layers widget?

Question

In Experience Builder, how can I disable the "expand/collapse legend" icon in the Map Layers widget?

My goal is to keep the legend for each layer permanently expanded, preventing users from collapsing it. I'd prefer to accomplish this within the Map Layers widget itself, rather than using a separate Legend widget.

Is this possible through configuration, or is this behavior hard-coded?

There's not a built-in option for this. In Developer Edition, it might be possible to hide the button with CSS or to edit the Map Layer Widget to remove this option.
