ArcGIS Monitor Agent 2024.1 start, authenticate monitor server but not finish register agent

We need to register the 2024.1 agent with the ArcGIS 2024.1 monitor server, but the process starts, authenticates the monitor to the monitor site, but doesn't complete the registration.

No logs, messages, or errors are generated.

The registration process just stops on the message and does not continue.

Any idea what's going on?

We had the same issue with one particular host, beginning at 2024.x and continuing with 2025.x. It took some back and forth troubleshooting with Esri and the local distributor here in NZ, but the cause ended up being that Powershell was missing from the PATH environment variable on that server.

Might not be the same cause for you, but worth a look.

Have the same problem.
Just for fun I tested to use the old agent 2024.0.2 and it worked?

Nothing happens as 2024.1.0
