Filter dashboard elements based on start date and duration

Hi, we're using Enterprise 11.3. Just wanted to ask if it's possible for the users of ArcGIS Dashboards to be able to select a start date and time from the date selector, and from there, they would be able to further filter out the serial chart displaying hourly water level data based on period/duration like 12 hours, 3 days or 7 days from the selected start date and time.

 

Any tips or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yes you can do this. Set up your date selector and set the filter action on the serial chart.  Set up a second category selector based on your categories 12 hour, 3 days or 7 days and set that to filter your serial chart. You can then go back to your date selector and have your date selector also filter your category selector, Then when you select a date and then go to the category selector you will only see the options relevant to that date.
