How to Add leader lines to labels in ArcGIS Online

Question

I want to display leader lines to labels in a feature service, just like in image below.

In ArcGIS Online, I can't find a way to add call outs just like we can do in ArcGIS Pro.

Any assistance would be great.

I've just been looking for this exact functionality in AGOL - the use case involves lots of features that are positioned close together along a street, so there are lots of labels. A leader line would enable a clearer connection (no pun intended!) between the feature and its label.

This is currently not supported in our labeling engine. We do support adding a background & background outline to the label like in the image above.
