Symbology

Question

Hello. I have a map and 3 layouts in Pro and I am trying to color code in the different layouts. How can I be able to change color without touching the other layout's symbology color, because when I do that, the color changes in the other layout. I know there is a way and I can't think at the top of my head. Thanks in advance.

The way you did it works. Another way is to duplicate the layer and change the symbology for each duplicate, then turn them on and off as needed.

I think I figured it out? I had to make a new map then a layout for it to work? I feel like there is a way to do it to avoid making a new map in the same project file?
