Create Point.

Question

Hello,

I have city Polygon shape file and I have excel file. In the excel file I have City ID and Agency Id. I would like to create point shale file defend on agency ID with in City Polygon Shape file but I don’t have geometry for Point.

Does your polygon layer have the same attributes as your excel file so you can join the tables? If so, I would suggest using Feature to Point ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) on your polygon layer to get a centroid point for all your polygons and then join ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2)  this to your excel table.
