LAS Dataset to Raster in Model Builder Iteration

Question

Hi,

So I have a model that uses iterate file to go from a las file to a las dataset, from the newly created dataset I want to create a raster but I keep getting a error that states ERROR 000210: Cannot create output C:\file Failed to create raster dataset Failed to execute (LAS Dataset to Raster).

I can seem how to fix this problem and any help would be great.

unless you 'file' in c:\file contains a folder then you are probably running into the ability to write directly to the root directory.  It would also be a good idea to specify the output file as a *.tif since that is the preferred raster format now
