Adding text to a sketch layer

Question

I want to add a note under my web map in ArcGIS Online and can't figure out how to do it. I've read map viewer use a sketch layer instead of map notes but I don't know how to add text to a sketch layer. Can someone please help me with this?

When you are in Map Viewer, click on the + sign at the top left and select Create Sketch layer. The Sketch pane will open on the right side and you'll see the Sketch toolbar. Choose the tool that has a little "A" and some lines on it. Then you can type in your text and add it to the map in the place you want it.
