I added a feature layer to a map, copied it and then saved the copy to 'my content'. Now I'd like to edit my layer, and I can't. I don't know why not. Can someone clue me in?
Thanks Kelly. The original layer I copied from is on AGOL, as is my saved copy. I'll come back to it on Monday. Take a look at my other post today: https://community.esri.com/thread/230554-agol-where-are-my-geocoded-addresses I wonder what you might add to that one. Old dawg learning new tricks on AGOL....

Hi Joe,
Is editing enabled on your non-hosted service? You can still edit with non-hosted services, but editing capability needs to be enabled on the server in ArcGIS Server or ArcGIS Enterprise.

It's because it's not a hosted feature layer. See image below. Utah_BusStops_Mine is the layer I want to make edits to, and it's listed as feature layer as opposed to TestPicPoints which is a hosted feature layer....
