Preparing layout of large area (Tasmania state of Australia) at higher scale

Question

Is it possible to include large area within few layouts (3-5 layouts) at the scale of 1:10000 per layout?

I failed to do so using 'custom page size' in the layout of Arc Pro.

Are there alternate methods available?

I would think you could apply the scale on your map tab then that scale would be an option when you create/insert the map frame into your layout.
