Hey all,
I am trying to update to ArcGIS 3.3 but keep running into an issue with Microsoft edge WebView 2 Runtime. Although it is installed and up to date I am unable to get past this error (image Attached). Has anyone else encountered this? How did you get past it? I am unable to uninstall it, but I can and did run a repair to no avail.

it needs to be installed
More information in the ArcGIS Pro Blog.
Additionally, ArcGIS Pro 3.3 requires Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime version 117 or later. If it is not already installed on the machine, use the Evergreen Bootstrapper or Evergreen Standalone installer from Microsoft. Learn more in this blog.
as above, It is installed and up to date.... I tried to uninstall and reinstall but uninstalling is not an option. The only option I have is to repair. Repairing Webview2 provided no change and I am still getting the error.
Tech Support is your best option then. There is nothing listed as errors or bugs for Pro 3.3 and WebView2 on the public facing support site.
Make sure that WebView and ArcGIS Pro are both installed either Per-Machine or Per-User. If you install WebView as one and try to install ArcGIS Pro as the other, you will get an error.
I'm pretty sure both are per machine, but can you tell me how I would verify this?
Ran into this same issue..... then installed WebView2 explicity as administrator (right-click --> Run as Administrator), then we were good.
Got same error. Update windows. No other option

They may have case specific suggestions that aren't on the public facing support site.
I'm having the same issue. Both are installed, Pro still wont update.
Same issue here. It first surfaced with a Dell Precision 3360. A laptop imaged same day from same image has no problems. Here's a reddit thread with a detailed breakdown of their deployment means, with same problem. We use a very similar method.https://www.reddit.com/r/Intune/comments/1gz6b62/install_arcgis_pro_33_intunesccm_webview2_runtime/
I'll open a support issue and report back
Tech support says we're on our own. Unattended installs are not supported. The Reddit thread continues see traffic and might someday reveal something useful. We hope anyway.
Hello Matt,Thank you for your patience.
I've had the chance to review the scope of the installation internally, but unfortunately SCCM deployments fall outside of the scope of ESRI technical support. I would recommend installing the application without SCCM on those machines that are experiencing unexpected behaviour, and if the issue still persists, we'd be happy to continue to troubleshoot as to why that might be.
Thank you for your understanding. [...]https://my.esri.com/#/support/cases/tech-cases?caseNumber=03784075Esri Canada
This is what fixed it for me. I had run the installer without doing it and it didn't work. Ran it again as administrator and now I can update Pro.
