Best practice to restart the ArcGIS Enterprise

Hi I am new to ArcGIS Enterprise. What is the best practice to restart the ArcGIS Enterprise, such as the sequence to restart all the component/server? We have portal, GIS Server, GeoEvent, WebAdaptor, and Datastore. Portal, GIS Server, GeoEvent, WebAdaptor are in the individual machine.

This is highly dependent on your specific deployment. Typically the reboot order I have been trained on for upgrades/patching is as follows...

* Portal
* ArcGIS Server
* Data Store

I recommend review of the system "Jumpstart" documentation and reaching out to the original Architect or ESRI for technical support.

If you are having to regularly restart all ArcGIS Enterprise components in your deployment, then something is definitely not right with the deployment.  If one component is acting up or has to be restarted, that does not mean all components should be restarted.
