GPS location not available iPad to BadElf GPS Pro+

Question

Hello, I have a  BadElf GPS Pro+ Bluetooth connected to my iPad. I am in a Field Map application, but it is showing "GPS location not available". Any advice on how to get this working?

It is always helpful to read through the documentation. Turns out that when I restarted the app the next day it picked it up.
