Hi, I suggest to edit Field Maps to allow you to annotate comments on photos (or edit) that are taken directly from the app.
This is a feature we would also like to have. When looking at the attachments table in AGOL, there is actually a "Text" field dedicated for each attached photo, but we don't see any way to add the text through the ArcGIS Field Maps app.
The whole Attachment-Story should be much improved to stay competitive with other systems.
Relates with that one: Field maps: make attachments mandatory (required a... - Esri Community
Super weird that we can't access Attachment Tables like we can other related fields, to be honest.
This would be a great feature in a future update!!
I agree with others. It would be very good to edit (mark up) a picture while in field maps.
Agreed! This is much needed, as most of the other apps that we support and train on can do this!
I'd love this as an additional option for taking photos. Similar to how it is available in Survey123. Not default but available by adjusting the settings
image attachment is in another related table. But Arcgis online won't show it when you look at the hosted feature overview. Kind of weird.
This is the only thing that force me to use survey123 for one project.
Bumping. Saw this might be on the long-term roadmap for Esri
This would be extremely useful. I don't want to add another app (survey123) to the stack used by our field workers as they already use multi app, and having them use the native photo app on the device is a clunky work around. If you could annotate photos right in field maps that would be a game changer.
