I'd like to hide pop-ups for a layer and instead show the content in a detail widget

Hi,

   I'd like to hide pop-ups for a layer and instead show them in a dashboard details pane. I know how to make the content show up in the details pane, but I don't know how to stop the pop-up itself from showing up in the map portion of the dashboard.

   Is this doable? I can't figure it out.

You disable or enable pop-ups in the map, rather than the app. If you go to the map and open it in map viewer, select the layer and when the configuration panel opens on the right find the option to configure pop-ups. It’s maybe half way down.  Right at the top there should be a slider button to disable pop-ups for the layer. Then save the map and go back to your app and configure the details pane. 

I’m answering on my phone so I can’t really be more specific.
