save edits in arcgis pro model builder

Question

Hi - is there a way to save edits in Model Builder? I am deleting features from a feature class and then after the delete is complete on the next step I try to do an append to the layer and am getting an error that the feature class is read-only.  Any other ideas what might be going wrong?  I've verified that the feature class and file geodatabase the feature class is in is not being accessed by any other process.

Hi Luke - I never did find a save edits tool.  Its been awhile, but I think I just ended up stopping the model after editing, and then creating a new model to work with that updated layer
