In a filter widget, please add options to remove the search bar from the top of the filter and the select all/none, and trash icons from the bottom. For a filter with only a few options, all of these just take up space and create clutter.
I'm not 100% sure on how since I set this up a while ago and came across your post now, but I do not have the select all/none and the trash can items. The search element though I have not been able to figure out how to get rid of and want that gone as well.
