I several times came across a scenario where an audio / voice note input type would have been helpful. I imagine this as short recording stored as an attachment, optionally limited just like photo sizes.
This would be very helpful for our team as well (wildlife transect survey from a boat).
We do surveys from a Helicopter where things happen fast and requires the Observer’s attention to what is on the ground. To have a moving map display and be able to create a voice note and associate it with the current gps coordinate with one click of a button would be so helpful.
To put it i to user context “If i am looking at a form, then I’m not looking at the ground where i need to be focusing. Can deal with voice recognition, transcription and QC later. But need to capture the thoughts at the moment and where they are.
