ArcGIS Pro: Error writing installation information to hard disk.

Question

"ArcGIS Pro installation program information
Error writing installation information to hard disk. Make sure you have enough hard disk space available, and then click Retry or Cancel to end the installation."

I'm sure I have enough hard drive space, but the C drive is only 7g.Can anyone help?

it only checks the disk that Pro is installed on, so you will have to clean up any other disk yourself, especially if you use it for temp files

Tests showed that my computer was configured well enough to run arcgis, but it still showed a lack of disk space, and I wondered if it had only checked the C drive during installation.
