How can I calculate the area in ArcGIS 10.8 using a featureclass with a geographic coordinate system

Thanks. The tool is only valid for ArcGIS Pro. is there an equivalent within ArcGIS 10.8

According to the following documentation https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/manage-data/tables/calculating-area-length-and-other-geometric-properties.htm#:~:text=Right%2Dclick%20the%20field%20heading,of%20layer%20you're%20using. you need a projected coordinate system to calculate area, perimeter etc.

Not quite correct. For that particular tool yes, but not in general.
