Arcgis JS api 3.x create polygon and extraction attributes within polygon from json data

Hi I want to show all the attributes from json data which fall within the polygon when i create a polygon in Arcgis api 3.4.
There is one example in arcgis documentation which extract feature attributes within the buffer but it is using features layer. I want same functionality using json data
