AppStudio Shortcut not available in AppLauncher

Hello,

I am using Portal for ArcGIS 10.8.1. My creator admin user has 'Included' AppStudio license. According to this documentation  "Members with included or add-on licenses can access the app from the app launcher or download the software from appstudio.arcgis.com."  However I am not able to see AppStudio in App Launcher. I have one add-on license as well which I assigned to newly added Portal for ArcGIS Member with Standard user type and Administrator Role, still it is not there for that user.

Are there any additional steps required to see AppStudio in App Launcher?

Hi,

 

The AppStudio app launcher is simply a link to this website https://appstudio.arcgis.com/index.html , where you can download the desktop software.  You are not missing anything by not having the AppStudio app launcher in Portal.

Note: In previous versions of AppStudio the App Launched linked to web configuration tool that was only available for ArcGIS Online, but that has been retired for more than 2 years.
