Thinning points based on distance

I have a large point dataset containing geotagged photo locations taken from a drone.
We want to thin the dataset so we have a point every 50 feet.

You can use the Delete Identical GP tool. Just use "Shape" as the Field, and set the XY Tolerance to 50ft.
