Here's a video how-to walking through creating a tessellation layer and then aggregating (spatial join) a heavy layer into it. Maybe you already knew or do it a different way (there are a few ways), but maybe it's a useful resource for someone you know or a nice refresher. Also a weird visualization option at the end that turns the data-filled hexagons into a fake DEM so you can make a terrain surface out of it. Because!
