If parent feature is in a group the related table becomes uneditable in fieldmaps

Question

We want to be able to use layer groups in field maps, but as soon as we move a parent layer into a group in map viewer the related table becomes un-editable.

Thanks for posting this. I opened an internal issue for us to look at. It appears that we are not searching for parent layers within group layers which causes this behavior.
