OK button on splash does not work

The splash page that pops up with a map application has an "OK" button that does not work . This is a recent development as the application has been available for public use for about 3 years.

Maybe remove the splash page widget and reconfigure it? Some updates may have changed the code behind the scenes. Worth a try.
