Can the Edit Widget be configured to work with extra data sources

Can the Edit Widget be configured to work with extra data sources?

I was think  more along the lines of data added via the 'Extra Data Source' under the attributes tab.

I would like to be able to do that but i dont think it can be unless the code is changed in WAB Developer.

If you mean multiple editable feature layers, yes.
