Hi! I am doing a time constrained assignment that I have to upload to ArcGIS online as a web map. However I am unsure how to export/extract my map documents layers as shapefiles so that I can open them up on web map. I have tried numerous solutions but am afraid that if I keep tinkering around I could accidentally permanently screw with my map document layers. I know there is a simple solution to this but I just cant find it! I have tried export as shapefiles but I keep running into errors saying the folder or file name doesnt exist. I have attached a screenshot of my map document. Any kind of help would be very much appreciated! Thank you
Take a look at this doc workflow for publishing the map to ArcGIS Online. You should not need to upload each file individually.
