Arcgis Server - copy services to a new server

Question

Hi,

I need to establish a new server and for that, I need to copy all of the current services to the server.

I am not sure how to approach it, I am familiar with the "checklist" but would appreciate a detailed explanation of the copy process and how to define the new services as the source.

Hello Daphna,

If you are migrating ArcGIS Server from one machine to another machine, you will have to re-publish all the services. There is no documented workflow to copy services from one machine to another.

There are different workflows that can be tried but I would suggest to contact Esri Support Services at 888-377-4575  to explore the options.
